This delicious smoked salmon dip is always a favorite and a perfect addition to your summer picnics and BBQs!

1 lb smoked salmon (if you don’t have smoked salmon you can substitute with cooked salmon filet and smoke flavor)

2 – 8 oz packages of cream cheese

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 small white onion, finely chopped

Salt (to taste)

2-4 T whole milk

Directions

1. Allow cream cheese to reach room temperature.  In a large mixing bowl combine the cream cheese, onion, and shredded cheese.

2. Shred the smoked salmon and add into the cream cheese mixture.  Stir in the milk, 1 Tablespoon at a time, until the right consistency is reached.   Add salt to taste.

Note that this recipe makes a LARGE batch of dip to share  For a smaller batch just cut the recipe in half.

Serve with your favorite cracker or bread!  Enjoy!
