Last Frontier Magazine offers the opportunity for you to share your Alaskan experiences. Your family may go back generations or you might be a tourist who just got off the plane today. Perhaps you no longer live here, but have memories you would like to share. Our only real requirement is that your stories reflect an Alaskan experience.
Our quality standard for the stories we publish in Last Frontier Magazine may be high, but our requirements for story submissions are not. All we need is your story via email, Word, or other text file. You can also include a bio about yourself and your blog, website and/or business. Pictures need to be of good quality. A 300 dpi jpeg works well, but our designer, Cecil Sanders, can work with other file types too. We provide any editing needed and are not picky about word counts. What we want is for writers to share what they are passionate about. If a story is too long for one issue we can always break it into parts, and short stories are welcome. Generally, if you are submitting a longer story we also like to have more pictures to go with it, but don’t let the lack of photos stop you from submitting to us. Some of the best adventure stories have no photos to accompany them.
If you are a photographer and would like to be considered for our photo gallery or have a single photo to share please contact our designer, Cecil Sanders, at firstname.lastname@example.org
